The gentle hills of Plešivica will once again be filled with the clink of glasses and the warm hum of conversation as Jastrebarsko Wine Days returns to the park of the historic Erdödy Castle from September 26 to 28. This beloved autumn gathering is more than a wine festival, it’s a celebration of tradition, friendship, and the unmistakable charm of Jaska.

Sixteen Wineries, One Heartbeat
This year, sixteen winemakers will share their finest bottles with visitors: Vina Josip Braje, Vina Robert Braje, Vinarija Griffin Ivančić, Željko Gregorić, Vinarija Jagunić, Kolarić Coletti, Podrum Mladina, Vino Sirovica, Vinarija Šoškić, Tomac & Bajda, Dobra Berba, RJ Winery, Vinarija Šember, Vinarija Kurtalj, Vinarija Krešimir Režek and Vinarija Ivančić.
Among them is Marko Sirovica, Croatia’s youngest winemaker, who smiles when he talks about the festival. “Many of us grew up with Wine Days,” he says, proud that these vines and hills have shaped a new generation of vintners. For the people of Plešivica, Wine Days is more than a tasting - it’s a chance to show the character and togetherness of their region.
Workshops for Curious Palates
The festival isn’t just about sipping and strolling. Wine lovers, and those ready to become wine lovers, can dive into guided workshops prepared in cooperation with Vinart. Learn the sparkle of champagnes with Monika Neral, feel the vibrant notes of Sauvignon with Kruno Filipović, explore Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris with Lucija Matijević, or discover the elegance of Riesling with Saša Špiranec. For the adventurous, amber wines with Antonio Gregorić promise a completely new experience.
Music Under the Stars
As the sun sets over the castle park, the festival shifts into full celebration. Bruno Rački & Valovi, Gospodari tambura, Danijela Martinović and Dalmatino will fill the evenings with live music. All concerts are free, making it easy to grab a glass of local sparkling wine, find a spot under the trees, and let the rhythm carry you into the night.
Mayor Zvonimir Novosel joined the winemakers in a festive toast to invite everyone, promising another weekend “for the memories.” Petra Masnec, director of the local Tourist Board, puts it simply: “This is the best invitation to spend the coming weekend in Jastrebarsko.”
Organized by the City of Jastrebarsko and the Tourist Board, with Jana natural mineral water as the main sponsor, Wine Days is a true community affair. “We’re proud to support the place we come from,” says Anita Glavaš Vujić of Jamnica, the company behind Jana. Their partnership, along with support from Zagreb County, Mladina, the Croatian Forestry Institute and many others, shows how much the festival means to locals.
Three days of wine, music, and friendship await in Jaska’s castle park. Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or simply in search of a beautiful autumn escape, Jastrebarsko Wine Days is a weekend made for raising a glass, sharing a smile, and celebrating the rich spirit of Plešivica.
