Ready, Set, Zip!

Zip-lining is a very popular and growing outdoor activity, and Krk is not an exception to it. There are several zip lines on the island available throughout the whole year for you to experience. Whether you are an adrenaline junkie or not, flying over the spectacular scenery will surely spice up your holiday.

One of the longest and most popular lines is the Edison Zip Line, located on the Treskavac pass, not far away from the towns of Krk and Punat. You will find it easily by following the state road D102 to the panoramic viewpoint of Treskavac, then make a stop right next to a large stone monolith sculpture of a Glagolitic letter A. The starting point of the zip-line is, of course, also the highest. From there, you have a beautiful view over the south side of the island, overlooking the green Baška Valley, extending down to the Adriatic Sea, the island of Prvić, and Velebit Mountain

What follows next is not for the faint-hearted.

The Canopy Ride

The ride is about two hours long, consisting of 9 various zip lines in a total length of a little over 2 kilometers. You will be gliding above the trees at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, depending on the steepness of the line. Remember to keep your eyes open for the remarkable aerial views of the extraordinary karst landscape.

The so-called Canopy tour, except zip-lining, also includes driving a jeep through wild nature and walking among memorable landscapes with guides. The whole package is an unforgettable and unique experience that you will cherish for the rest of your life.

Safety first!

Zip lining is an adrenaline-rushing yet very safe sport. You are being taken care of by an experienced and well-equipped team. The tour begins by getting to know the equipment. Before getting on to the Zip-line, visitors have to pass a short training. After that, they can go to the first line, the so-called „Baby Line. “ Here, visitors learn the basics of zip lining, like how to glide down the cable, how to break, the monkey style, and what to do and not do during your glides. When you master the first line, the adventure can start!

This adventure is suitable for everybody, for families with small children as well as for adrenaline junkies. You can already book your ride online! Check your calendar and surprise your friend, partner, or your whole family with the ride of a lifetime.
