Where to Stay in Jelsa?

For an extraordinary stay in Jelsa, the Vertigo Palace is the ultimate choice. This captivating villa is located in the center of Jelsa, where you'll find yourself in close proximity to all the village has to offer. Vertigo Palace is designed to accommodate up to 14 guests comfortably, making it an excellent choice for groups or families.

One of the standout features of the Vertigo Palace is its exquisite indoor round pool, spanning 24 square meters. This pool, perfect for a refreshing dip during the summer months, adds a unique touch to your stay. But the luxury doesn't stop there – the palace also boasts a 15-meter outdoor swimming pool that's especially delightful for nighttime swims under the starry autumn sky.

What sets Vertigo Palace apart is its masterful use of traditional Dalmatian stone, seamlessly integrated into both the exterior and interior of the home. This modern approach to traditional materials creates an atmosphere of rustic elegance and charm.

Exploring Jelsa

Jelsa is a peaceful fishing village where time seems to slow down. Its enchanting streets are lined with centuries-old stone buildings, cozy cafes, and charming shops. Meander along the waterfront promenade, where you can watch local fishermen at work or enjoy a leisurely stroll while admiring the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea.

Autumn is an excellent time for hiking and exploring the countryside. Take a guided tour to the nearby lavender fields or hike to the picturesque Grapčeva Cave, where you can step back in time as you explore the rich history of the island's early inhabitants.

Getting to Jelsa

Reaching Jelsa is easier than you might think. A daily catamaran service connects Jelsa with Bol on the island of Brač and the city of Split on the mainland. If you're arriving by ferry, Jelsa is just 9 kilometers from the main ferry port in Stari Grad, 28 kilometers from the city of Hvar, and 51 kilometers from Sućuraj on the eastern side of the island via the D116 main road.
