Are you in the mood for a luxury stay on Krk, one of Croatia's biggest islands? Villa Isabella is a lovely modern villa with everything you need for a luxury vacation, accompanied by a gorgeous sea view!
Linardići, a Colorful Mediterranean Town
The villa is situated in the peaceful and picturesque town of Linardići, or Šotovento, as the locals name it, on the west part of the island. The name is a portmanteau of the Italian words sotto and vento ('under the wind'), denoting a lee. The neighbouring hills protect it from the harsh northern wind Bura that mercilessly sweeps over the Adriatic coastline. Since the area of Šotovento faces southwest and is protected from the wind, it boasts lush plant life and favourable weather ― here, you can expect a lot of sunshine-filled summer days, perfect for sunbathing and enjoying your holidays!
Luxury Accommodation
Villa Isabella comprises four bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, a safety deposit box, necessary linen, a flat-screen TV with cable, a washing machine, and one bathroom with a shower. The air-conditioned rooms are tastefully decorated: predominantly minimalist in design; the interior is white and breezy with earth-toned details, which add an ever-so-subtle dash of a rustic feel that fits so well with the nature of Krk. You will be happy to know that pets are welcome, so don't hesitate to bring your favourite furry companion along for a true Mediterranean adventure!

A Pool for Refreshment
The first thing that catches your eye when entering the villa's premises is the lovely rectangular pool that takes up most of the garden area. Next to it rest numerous sun loungers and a big parasol ready to shelter you from the sun. There is also a barbecue area in the garden. The outdoor lounging space is surrounded by low Mediterranean vegetation ― it provides privacy, blocks the passer-by's view into the backyard, and offers relaxation.
The Sea View and the Nearby Beaches
If you're looking forward to dipping your toes in the sea, a five-minute car drive will get you to many nearby beaches. For example, Linardići beach, Trokul beach, Vela Jana beach, and Rova and Vantačići beach are a little further away. The beaches are usually private, made of pebbles, and blessed with crystal clear turquoise water. Some beaches have concrete surfaces, like Vela Jana, for example, and others are tricky to access, like Linardići beach ― but the experience is worth the hassle! Of course, let's not forget the gorgeous view of the Adriatic sea
Explore the Island of Krk
The nearest airport, International Airport Rijeka in Omišalj, is 30 kilometres away, and to get to the towns of Krk and Malinska, you'll need a 20-minute drive. The villa's location is ideal for sightseeing. Many settlements have a long history ― Linardići is about 600 years old ― so there are remnants of lived lives scattered throughout the island. Explore the archaeological site of the Roman town Fulfinum in Sepen cove, Triton's mosaic in Krk town, and, of course, the location where one of the oldest Croatian monuments, the millennia-old Baška Table, was found ― the Church of St. Lucy on the south of the island.
