These 4 Dalmatian Secluded Beaches Will Leave You Speechless

If your dream vacation is a sunny beach with crystal blue waters and preserved nature, then Dalmatia is what you're looking for! Indeed, a ton of information can be found about Dalmatia, as it's one of the top European attractions for tourists all over the globe.

However, some tourists prefer a silent and peaceful vacation, away from crowds and traffic. Luckily, despite being such a popular location, the dalmatian coastline hides numerous small beaches and coves unfamiliar to the general public. Discover Dalmatia's secluded beaches and enjoy the clear waters of the Adriatic Sea.

Nugal Beach

Nugal Beach is just a short drive from Makarska, one of the best beaches in Dalmatia. Tucked away between tall cliffs, it's one of the best Dalmatia secluded beaches with not much of a crowd. You will have to climb down a rocky path to reach this beach, but the effort will definitely be worth it. You will be rewarded with a crystal-clear sea that is perfect for swimming. However, keep in mind that half of the beach is for nudists.

Jadrija Beach

Another Dalmatia hidden beach for a peaceful and private vacation is Jadrija beach in Šibenik. It's located on the peninsula just outside of the historic city. You can drive to this beach, but it might be better to take public transportation – a ferry. The ferry runs from Riva in Šibenik to Jadrija dock several times daily, all summer.

Pasjaca Beach

About 30 kilometers from Dubrovnik, near the village of Popovici, you can find Pasjaca Beach. To reach this beach, you will have to climb steep stairs, which might be challenging on hot summer days. However, you will be instantly rewarded with incredible views once you get to the shore. This beach is one of the true hidden gems of Croatia and a perfect place for everyone who looks for a remote beach away from the everyday chaos of overcrowded tourist attractions. The visit to this beach will take you at least half a day, and keep in mind that there are no restaurants on the beach, so make sure to bring food and drinks with you.

Marusici Beach

While searching for the best of Dalmatia, Marusici beach will be on the list. This beautiful sandy and pebbly beach with clear blue waters are hiding away from most people's eyes. It's the perfect destination for private vacations, and many hotels and restaurants are close to the beach. Aside from Marusici, there are numerous crystal-clear Dalmatia secluded beaches in the area you can explore.

Divna Beach

This beach with the turquoise blue sea is located in Divna Bay, between slopes of the mountain covered with dense vegetation. Despite the forest surrounding the entire hill, the pebbly beach doesn't have natural shade, so make sure you bring your supplies for sun protection. The sea on this beach is shallow, clean, warm, and perfect for families with kids. The beach is only 10 kilometers away from Trpanj, one of the oldest places on the Pelješac peninsula, and it can be reached by vehicle. However, remember that the roads are very narrow and the parking could give you a headache. If you need a refreshment, a restaurant/bar is nearby.
